A California Taco Bell employee thought it would be funny to lick outside the bun. He licked a stack of taco shells and according to Taco Bell, that wasn’t the right thing to do.
The picture was made in March at a Taco Bell in Ridgecrest, about 100 miles north of Los Angeles. Taco Bell Products Inc. says the shells were provided for workers to practice making its new Cool Ranch tacos and were thrown out without being sold.
The picture was actually taken for a contest that showed employees enjoying a bite of the Cool Ranch tacos but it was never submitted.
A worker posted the picture below on a Facebook page and that’s were the fail was committed. The posting and food handling procedures violated Taco Bell policies.
The company says the licker has been suspended and will be fired, while the photographer no longer works at the restaurant.
