An overnight raid at a home in northeast Harris County nets three suspects and hundreds of pounds of marijuana. The drugs were worth $1.1 million.
The home on Blue Timbers court near C.E. King Parkway had been set up as a grow house with thousands of pot plants. Neighbors say they noticed a strong odor coming from the home since the men started renting several months.
The three are charged with possession of marijuana, but because the house is so close to carroll elementary school, the charges will likely be upgraded.
