Chad Holley, the central figure in one of Houston’s biggest police brutality cases, was sentenced to six months in jail in connection with a home burglary case.
Police arrested Holley, 18, in June for burglary of a northwest Harris County home. He faced up to 10 years in prison, officials said.
Holley was taken to the Harris County Jail immediately after the six-month sentence was announced. After his release, Holley will be on probation for seven years.
