One of the students at Lone Star College was among those who was on campus and managed to escape injury. News 92 FM’s Pattie Shieh has more on her terrifying ordeal.
http://news92fm.comThey turned off the lights and stayed down but had no idea what was going on outside of the door.
“A couple of us called 911 that had some kind of service in the class room, we were probably in there for half an hour when the door started to shake and we were getting pretty scared and one of them was able to get open and we saw the cops and they told us they were going to get us out,” she added.
Officers told the students to leave everything, put their hands on their heads and they were rushed to another building and eventually allowed to leave.
But the nightmare of what happened will not so easily disappear.
”I’ve never had anything like that happen to me before and I’ve never considered that that might happen at Lone Star Community College Community College,” Dominguez said. It was one of the last things that would ever come to my mind.”
