This past Sunday on Access Houston with Youth AID because October is Bullying Awareness Month! Youth Aid, a local bullying awareness organization, has teamed up with the Lopez family (Tae Kwon Do Olympians) to speak out against bullying. They are keenly aware of the growing bullying problem worldwide so they are using their celebrity to speak up by connecting the virtues of martial arts with an anti-bullying message:
* Have respect for one another
* Stand up for yourself
* Exhibit self control
* Be a positive contributor to society
Youth Aid will be holding a fundraising event to support their programs on October 18 starting at 7:00 pm at The Marque in CityCentre.
