Rappers 50 Cent and Fat Joe have have not been the best of friends since they’ve gotten in the hip-hop game. However, the two men might do as the Bloods and Crips did in the early 90s and call a brief truce. Rumor has it 50 Cent and Fat Joe might share the stage BET’s Hip-Hop Awards for a Chris Lighty tribute.

At this point in time, nothing concerning Fat Joe and 50 Cent’s involvement has been confirmed. As much as we would love to confirm or deny these rumors, BET’s VP of Communication Tracy McGraw fueled the rumors by playing coy. “She was asked if a joey Crack and 50 Cent performance would be on the lineup, she responded, “That’s a good question. I think we’ll just go with ‘Could not confirm.’”

Despite the rumors of 50 Cent and Fat Joe’s contributions haven’t been confirmed, a tribute to the hip-hop manager was already planned for the awards telecast airing on October 9th. Lighty’s Violator Management artist, including Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott, are said to be included.
