No! The card company is refunding $200 million dollars to current customers for deceptive telemarketing.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, in conjunction with the FDIC, announced that they found Discover’s telemarketing and sales strategies were misleading consumers about additional products that can be bought when opening credit cards.
