(West Chester, OH) — One apartment complex in West Chester, Ohio, is getting serious about dog-owners who don’t pick up after their pets. The “Cincinnati Enquirer” reports they’re even willing to spend time digging through the dog droppings to catch the culprit. Summit Management Services, which owns The Lakes of West Chester Village, has started the so-called “Poo Prints” DNA program to match the evidence to the animal and the owner who left it behind. Property manager Jill Moorman says they have no plans to hold the dogs accountable for the infringement, but will charge the owner 200-dollars per violation.
