A Florida man’s recent attempt to avoid drinking and driving has actually landed him in trouble with police.  According to “Bay News 9,” Terry Kimbell called 911 last Wednesday, claiming that a Largo area Taco Bell was forcing him to “get a DUI to get a taco.”  Kimbell had reportedly walked up to the drive-thru window after a night of drinking, but was told by the fast food employees that they would only serve him if he was in a car.  He called the emergency number to complain, and ended up talking to the dispatcher for about 11 minutes.  Police did eventually arrive, but they didn’t help him get his grub.  Instead, they arrested Kimbell for misuse of a 911 system.  A Largo police lieutenant explained that 911 is for emergencies only, and not getting your tacos doesn’t qualify.
