(Lakewood, CO)  —  A Jefferson County Schools superintendent is defending police who used pepper spray on a second-grader.  Community Superintendent Peg Kastberg told KUSA-TV the eight-year-old boy was quote “violent,” “abusive” and “verbal.”  A Lakewood Police report says Aidan spat and swore at teachers and tried to stab them with wood trim at Glennon Heights Elementary February 22nd.  Officers reportedly told Aidan to “drop the stick” but he refused so they sprayed him twice, and he told the station quote “I kinda deserved it.”
