It will now be more expensive to study at Texas Southern University. That’s because the university is now seeing a tuition hike.
TSU Board of Regents will be voting Friday on raising tuition and fees by 3 .5 percent. Also, library fees will go up 55 percent for some students.
The university said there is, however, some good news. The increases are still a bargain compared to other schools. Most schools went up 3.9 percent this year. TSU officials said the increase in tuition will bring in nearly $1.5 million.
