(Undated)  —  Today is Tax Day, and that means many companies will once again be handing out free food and discounts to folks who’ve just finished paying Uncle Sam.  Among the shops offering Tax Day freebies is Maggie Moo’s, which will hand out samples of ice cream pizza at shops nationwide between 3 and 7 p.m. local time.  Rival ice creamery Dairy Queen will opt for a more direct approach when it hands out its new Mini Blizzards from a “Blizzardmobile” parked in front of the IRS building in Washington, DC between noon and 1 p.m. Eastern time.  Cinnabon is rolling out samples of its new cupcakes at participating stores from 6 to 8 p.m. local time.  Americans with a bigger appetite can get free full-size tacos all day by bringing an online coupon to Taco Del Mar locations.  Restaurants like P.F. Chang’s and McCormick & Schmick’s and many Whole Foods grocery store locations are also running deals and discounts all day.  Meanwhile, tax payers can grab a free cup of brewed coffee all day at Starbucks locations as long as they bring their own mugs.  That deal is part of an Earth Day promotion, not a Tax Day giveaway.
