Fans attending Drake’s “Away From Home Tour” are getting a little taste of his upcoming album, “Thank Me Later.” Drake is kicking off his set with the first verse from his upcoming single “Fireworks.” Drake discussed the track before his Monday night show at Slippery Rock University saying, quote, “The song itself is the first song on the album; I think it’s the biggest indicator of what the album is gonna be like. That’s why I picked that song to go first, and that’s why I wrote the first verse like that. It’s really where I am in my life right now.” Drake adds, quote, “I know they’re looking forward to the album, so I want them to get a feel of how the story starts off.” Here is the song tell me what yall think?
Drake’s “Away From Home Tour” will continue tonight at a private location in Columbus, Ohio. His “Thank Me Later” album is set to drop on June 15th.
