The Chinese town of Xianling was recently evacuated after several thousand dangerous reptiles took over the streets. The U.K.’s “Orange” news is reporting that people were forced to leave their homes after three-thousand illegally bred king cobras escaped from their owner. A spokesman for local police remarks, quote, “We don’t know how many survived but we caught 170 of them so we think a lot are still missing.” The breeder, Cai Yong, is now facing prison time for breeding venomous snakes without a license.
