HOUSTON – It’s going to be another scorcher, folks, as a heat advisory continues into Saturday evening, 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
The temperatures are expected to max out in the upper-90s, but the heat index will make temps feel at least 105 degrees.
The National Weather Service extended the heat advisory through Sunday.
Gomez said the viewing area could see some isolated showers near the coast on Saturday, but for the most part the weekend will remain dry.
“It does look like we’re going to see almost 100 degrees by Sunday and Monday,” he said.
