Police in Swissvale, Pennsylvania had an easy time identifying a bank robbery suspect over the weekend. The “Pittsburgh Post-Gazette” is reporting that Dennis Hawkins was wearing a blonde wig, a sweater with fake breasts underneath, and clown pants when he robbed a Citizens Bank branch last Saturday morning. Surveillance footage captured the 48-year-old stealing a BB gun from a Kmart before taking money from the bank. Unfortunately for Hawkins, his appearance became even more pronounced after a dye pack attached to the cash exploded in his face. Hawkins reportedly went to a nearby service station to find a ride, and wound up making his getaway inside a woman’s car. Police responding to the bank robbery were redirected to the service station where they subsequently arrested Hawkins. He was taken to the Allegheny County Jail on numerous charges including bank robbery.
