Teenaged rap star Soulja Boy Tell’Em isn’t about to let his sales numbers get in the way of his popularity. The emcee’s second studio effort, “iSouljaBoyTellem,” didn’t fare as well as his first, but he tells BET.com that his individuality keeps him in the spotlight. The rapper states, quote, “I just think that I’m big because people look at me as like the artist and not the song.” He adds that there are a lot of artists who still lack recognition, despite having hit songs on the radio. With one of the hottest names in the rap game, Soulja Boy Tell’Em believes that he could be dominating the world of entertainment in the near future. He adds, quote, “I said when I start doing movies or they give me a TV show, it’s a wrap.”

Soulja Boy Tell’Em’s debut album, “Souljaboytellem.com,” dropped in July 2007, and has sold more than one-million copies. While “iSouljaBoyTellem” produced the hits “Kiss Me Through The Phone” and “Turn My Swag On,” the record has only moved approximately 330-thousand units. Soulja Boy’s third release, “The DeAndre Way,” is slated to arrive sometime next year.
