R&B star Pleasure P is speaking out against recent allegations that he was involved in a 2006 child molestation case. In a statement released through his lawyers the singer proclaims, quote, “All of the recent rumors and accusations that are being circulated about me are 100-percent false. They are disgusting and vile; and they are being spread by individuals with their own sick agendas.” Earlier this week, a Twitter user named “AGoldsteinGirl” posted alleged court documents that stated that Pleasure P, whose real name is Marcus Cooper, was found guilty of molesting a four-year-old in Broward County, Florida. According to AllHipHop.com, “AGoldsteinGirl” claims to be Laura Goldstein, the daughter of Pleasure P’s attorney.

Pleasure P, however, not only denies knowing a Laura Goldstein, he also claims he has never had an attorney with the name Goldstein. The “Boyfriend Number Two” singer adds, quote, “For someone to go to such depths to assassinate my character and slander my good name is truly criminal.” Pleasure P’s former group, Pretty Ricky, only fueled the speculation when they announced this week that it had been their decision to remove Pleasure P from the group in 2007.
