At a WalMart in Pennsylvania, when a lady that called herself, “Santa B” was sent in to deliver a check that was worth $46,265.59 to play off layaway balances.
The company said a generous donor was a man and they were allow the anonymous donor to remain a secret. “When customers quietly pay off others’ layaway items, we’re reminded how good people can be,” the company told CNBC.

The Bedford County Free Press reported that this anonymous man’s donation paid off 194 layaway accounts and that they reported that this is the third year in a row that a Walmart store in Pennsylvania had their layaway accounts paid off by an anonymous donor, but the check that “Santa B” dropped of was the largest this year.
One Grandmother said that she fell onto hard times after having surgery and losing her job and she owed $75 on her Xbox present for her grandson. Sandy Terry said she didn’t know how she was going to pay it off and she said, “I’m just so thankful that he’s going to get it this year.”
