Man Hold Up! This Morning on the Madd Hatta Morning Show we talked about the Twerkin’ Teacher. Oh, you haven’t heard of the Twerkin’ Teacher?! Well, here’s the story…A 24 year old woman identified as “Miss Clarissa” was a Mexican grade-school teacher…that’s right – WAS! You see, Clarissa was pressured to resign (a.k.a “fired”) after a video of her in a spring break twerk contest hit the web. She won the contest and $260 during Easter break in Cabo San Lucas.
Clarissa told the Mexican newspaper “Reforma,”
‘I knew there were mobile phones but I never imagined this would go viral and anyway, I’m not doing anything bad. ‘It was a dance competition, something like this doesn’t define me as a person, it was my free time and we’re in the 21st century. ‘It’s not something to be afraid of, I’m not naked, I’m not having sex or taking drugs or disrespecting anyone.’
In the wake of the whole Twerkin’ Teacher controversy, Atascocita’s own DEM AT TWERK BOYZ (straight out of them Atascocita Oaks) – released a 40 second hit twerk-anthem titled “Teachers Gon Twerk!’
