A Kileen, Texas teenager was suspended from middle school after he went against the teacher’s “orders” and helped a classmate who was having a  asthma attack.
Anthony Ruelas’ classmate was wheezing when the teacher had ordered the students in her class to remain seated because she had informed the nurse via e-mail and was waiting for a reply back on what to do next.

During the time that the teacher was waiting, the girl asthma attack worsened and the girl collapsed to the floor. Thats when Anthony decided that wasn’t going to sit around and watch this girl suffer any longer.
In the teacher’s complaint regarding Anthony, she wrote down that Anthony said, “F–k that, we ain’t got time to wait for no e-mail from the nurse.
With saying that, Anthony made the decision to pick the sick student up and to carry her to the nurses office where she could get treatment.
It was this action that the school is calling a defiance and this is the reason that they suspended the youth for two days.
The boys mother, Mandy Cortes said, “For them to not be regarded for really something that is brave, you know, he is a hero to me.
Mandy has decided to pull her son out of school and home school Anthony since this senseless punishment was handed down to him for helping someone not die.
Of course, the Killeen’s superintendent has no intentions on discussion the suspension of Anthony Ruelas.
