Houston’s first responders, the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is starting an appreciation program.
Starting on Sept. 6th through Sept. 20th, the firefighters, police officers and EMS can bring up to three friends or family members to ANY movie for free.
The locations for the Alamo Drafthouse cinemas are Mason Park and Vintage park.. the responders and their family/friends can attend the Matinee showing on Tuesday afternoon or prime-time showing on Friday night or new release or special events too.
The details of the Appreciation program is:
  • Simply provide the box office with a valid professional ID or badge to claim your tickets
  • First Responder Appreciation will run from Sunday, September 6th – Sunday, September 20th
  • First Responder Appreciation is valid at both Vintage Park and Mason Park
  • First Responder Appreciation is valid for any first-run film or special event (any day, any time) with a ticket price of $12 or less
  • First Responder Appreciation is only valid at the box office (no online or kiosk redemption)
  • The First Responder must be present for friends or family to receive a free ticket
  • The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema age policy still applies: no children under the age of 6 are allowed
