During Wednesday’s Redskin’s practice, tempers flared between wide receiver Andre Roberts and cornerback Bashaud Breeland in front of the media and while the cameras were rolling.
According to Comcast Sports Net Washington, the scuffle broke out after “Breeland had been in tight coverage of Roberts on a deep pass from McCoy. Roberts did not hold onto the ball and both players tumbled to the turf.”

Breeland appeared to have been momentarily injured in the groin area because he grabbed it and briefly bent over before returning to the line.
Once the two players returned to the sideline, words were exchanged and punches and tempers came out.
Ryan Clark, E.J. Biggers and Ryan Grant were among the players who helped separate the two.
After the confrontation, the coach told the media that the “open period” was over and he tossed the media out.
