(Dallas, TX)  —  Officials in Dallas don’t plan on killing an Ebola patient’s dog.  Mayor Mike Rawlings tells “USA Today” the dog is still in the woman’s apartment and will be sent to another location to await its owner’s recovery.  That health care worker is the first person to contract Ebola on American soil.  She is one of the nurses who treated Ebola patient Thomas Duncan, who died last week.  A similar situation caused widespread outrage in Spain after the government there decided to put down an Ebola patient’s dog out of fear the animal could spread the deadly virus.
