(Myrtle Beach, SC) — A South Carolina woman is blaming a 64-year-old man’s flatulence for a fight that landed them both in police custody. According to WBTW TV, the incident began Monday when Darrell McKnight “passed gas” in Jessica Cerney’s face as she lay on a sofa. She tried to get away from McKnight by going outside the house, but he reportedly followed her. The two started arguing about McKnight’s offensive move and Cerney ended up punching him three times in the face. McKnight was taken to the hospital with a swollen eye. They were both arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
