One of the final Notorious B.I.G. interviews recorded in San Francisco at my former station (Wild 107), 3 days later Biggie died in Los Angeles. I remember listening to this interview on my way to school in 1997, I was only in 5th grade so I didn’t understand the significance of Biggie being on the West Coast only months after Tupac’s death. Nor did I realize how major of an icon he was to hiphop. The interview was featured on MTV News check it out below, it almost sounds like Biggie knew his time was close.
