(Grand Rapids, MI) — A Michigan woman believes the only reason a snake came out of hiding in a couch she bought was because it was dying. Holly Wright of Grand Rapids bought the second hand furniture about two months ago and had no idea the boa constrictor was living in it. She and her boyfriend found the reptile under the cushions recently but it died before they were able to get an animal expert to help it. She says the snake was very lethargic when it appeared.
