(York, PA) – The family of a Pennsylvania man made sure he had a “whopper” of a funeral this past weekend. Linda Phiel tells the “York Daily Record” her dad, David Kime Jr., loved Burger King’s Whopper Jr., joking that his idea of “eating healthy was the lettuce on the burger.” So after he passed away earlier this month at the age of 88, Phiel and her sisters decided to bring his funeral procession through the fast food restaurant’s drive-through Saturday to get one last Whopper Jr. The manager of the local Burger King said the group ultimately ordered 40 sandwiches, including one for Kime. Phiel says they put it on top of his casket before it was buried.
