#NYFWNoir is a celebration of Black people excelling and creating within the fashion and beauty industry. New York Fashion Week contained a plethora of talent from our fashion designers. We identified 5 trends from the runway that you will be rocking for Spring/Summer 2017. Get into these trends from Byron Lars, LaQuan Smith, Tracey Reese, Pyer Moss, and Serena Williams!
1. NATURALLY NEUTRAL
Serena Williams proved that khaki and neutrals will be big for SS17.

Gray is becoming a neutral itself. This color will be huge for SS17 – wear it as a metallic for an extra pop of pizzaz, as shown at the Pyer Moss SS17 show.

LaQuan Smith was inspired by elements of nature including electrical storms, gusts of wind, and bolts of lightning. You will see gray throughout the collection and it was definitely trending on the Spring/Summer 2017.
