1. Beats on the Bayou (Free Event)

Location: 100 Jensen Dr, Houston, TX 77020
Music lovers can enjoy free concerts along Buffalo Bayou on the first Friday of each month from 6-9 PM. The series continues on June 6th featuring Southern Glory.
2. June 5th: Line Dancing After Dark at Discovery Green

Location: Discovery Green
Time: 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
About: “Line dancing with Gretchen “The Legend” Jean at 7 PM, followed by a party with DJ Boom Boom Williams.”
3. June 6 – 7: US Open National Chili Championship

Location: Jamaica Beach RV Resort, Galveston
Come join the Chili Appreciation Society International CASI for a charity event benefiting Abigails Reach Foundation and the JBVFD at the Jamacia Beach RV Resort June 6th & 7th 2025. This is a World Class Event featuring World and International Champions as well as competitors from all over the country. This event is free to the public (18+) to judge some of the finest chilis in the country. Lots of entertainment for kids and adults as well, there is a showmanship competition as well (games and prizes)

5. June 7: Yellow Cup Weekend
Location: Warehouse Live Houston
The city’s most anticipated day party is back and it’s bringing the heat on Saturday, June 7, 2025! Yellow Cup Weekend is pulling up to Warehouse Live Midtown with high energy, nonstop DJ sets, art, food, and vibes you don’t want to miss. This 21+ experience is giving house party energy with a grown-up twist—so bring your crew, grab your first yellow cup at the bar or design station, and get ready to sip, dance, and celebrate all day long. The first Saturday of every month from 9 am to 11 am the Coffee and Cars event is held in the East Parking Lot of the POST with 100 luxury and exotic vehicles. 7. Fitness in the Park
