21 Savage dropped the music for for his I Am > I Was opener and Breaking Out The Box track “a lot” on Friday morning. The clip, featuring J. Cole appears to be a family dinner and massive gathering ahead of a funeral.
The video starts with a family photo with everyone gathered around a beauty county estate. As everyone gets situated in the dining room, you get tiny glimpses of respective family members and what could have been in the worst way. Cole appears with his dreads tumbling down his face, suited and booted mixing both skepticism and joy in his verse.
