Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, former WWE Tag Team Champion and father of current RAW superstar Natalya has died. He was 63. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
Neidhart wrestled for the WWE in 1985 and in the process formed a legendary stable with Bret “Hitman” Hart in The Hart Foundation. Together, the pair won the WWE Tag Team Titles on two occasions. He returned to WWE in the mid-’90s former the more legendary version of The Hart Foundation with Owen Hart, Bret, Davey Boy Smith and Brian Pillman as a group of Canadian sympathizers who hated “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. The feud was one of the best of the Attitude Era and set the stage for wrestling’s second boom period which occurred in the late ’90s.
