Drake continues to use the month of February as a way of giving back to those in need. The God’s Plan” rapper heard the story of Odelie Paret, a housekeeper who works at the Fountainbleu Hotel in Miami. Paret, a mother of five who cleans 14 rooms per day at the hotel, was profiled by the Miami Hearld. Drake read her tale of busing for miles to get to her job at the hotel and he arranged for her to go on a lavish shopping spree earlier this month!

Per the Herald, she was treated to a spa day, Lapis, and dinner at steakhouse StripSteak by Michael Mina.

“I always just saw him on the TV. So I said, ‘Drake!’ ” Paret told the Herald Tuesday. “It made me happy. … I thank him so much.”

Drake and Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown then took Paret on a shopping spree. She was given 45 minutes to purchase whatever she wanted. She reportedly went to the clothes section, but nothing fit. She then tried on some shoes, but as a housekeeper, heels simply wouldn’t do. She needed comfort. Paret opted for a pair of flats that valued at $800, a $2,000 Valentino handbag, four fragrances–one she purchased for her son–and also a $6,000 18k white gold necklace. The total came to about $10,000.

Paret’s shopping experience will also be part of the upcoming music video, she said. Her grandson put it best: “Grandma, you’re a superstar!”

By the time the spree was done, it was 1:30 a.m.. The driver that Drake had arranged for her took her back home, where she rested for three hours before getting up to get ready for work again.
