The Chicago Bears No. 2 overall pick, Mitchell Trubisky was asked to promise to the Bears GM Ryan Pace that he would show up to camp in the same 1997 hand-me-down Toyota Camry car that he drove throughout college years.

The Bears got what they asked for because Trubisky did just that, he showed up to camp in his grandma’s old Camry.

They tweeted out, “Ryan Pace made Tru promise he’d drive his car, formerly grandma’s car, to Halas Hall. The kid kept his promise.”
“It’s got 170,000 miles on it so it can still lug around a little bit. It moves  pretty well,” Trubiskey told reporter the day after he was drafted as per MLive.com. “Gets me from Point A to Point B and y yeah, that’s what I drive.”
Now to see what he’ll offer the Bears.
