As we kick of #HAW (Houston Appreciation Week), Mayor Annise D. Parker and the City of Houston award Aubrey Drake Graham aka Drake with his very own day. From now on, June 10th will be called ‘Drake Day’ and Drake will have the opportunity to celebrate and give back to the people of Houston every year. Even though Drake isn’t from Houston, his music career started here. 97.9 The Box was one of the first radio stations in the U.S. to play his music, so we are so excited that he has decided to come back and make a positive impact on the city.
