Conroe police have discovered a major marijuana growing operation in a wooded area in the southwest part of the city. Sergeant Dorcy Riddle says its one of the bigger finds they’ve had.
After discovering the plants, police conducted around the clock surveillance for a week and a half. That operation did not turn up any suspects visiting the site, so the decision was made to go in today and remove the plants, which will be burned.
