This weekend, instead of the tradition summertime BBQ, Rihanna opted for an exclusive vacation in Amsterdam–the marijuana capitol for stoners and ganga lovers alike! Ri Ri called for weed to be legalized under her Instagram photos. If you share her same envy for the green (see what I did there) then we are delighted to inform you, there are some places that have legalized (medical) marijuana, right here on US soil!

We’ve compiled a list of the 19 states that legalized the substance.

Be aware, medical marijuana is used for a variety of illnesses including: Cachexia, cancer, chronic pain, epilepsy and other disorders characterized by seizures, glaucoma, HIV or AIDS, multiple sclerosis and other disorders characterized by muscle spasticity, and nausea (and more).
