TMZ is reporting that Annette Charles, who played the caliente “Cha Cha” DiGregorio in the 1978 film ‘Grease’ has passed away from complications from cancer. They also report that she was recently made aware of a cancerous tumor in one of her lungs.
After ‘Grease” Charles didn’t do much acting, but did receive a degree from the NYU School of Social Work in 2001, and taught at California State University, Northridge.
