I loved the VH1 Hip Hop Honors last night. It was really good to see Rap-A-Lot Records founder J. Prince get recognized for his contributions to hip hop. It would have been great to see a reunion of the Geto Boys. But, The Game did an admirable job filling in for Scarface on “Mind Playing Tricks”. However, my favorite performance of the night was Drake joining Bun B. for “Get Throwed”. I think Drizzy did a great job of paying homage to Pimp C (which is not an easy feat).
