Houston YWCA COO Allison Booker Brooks explains how the community can get involved in the effort.

“What we want people to do is. We want people to wear orange on Friday April 25th simply this is to draw attention to the ongoing need for peace justice and freedom and dignity for all.”

Along with wearing orange tomorrow there’s a social media component-

“If they will wear orange, take a selfie of themselves, selfie’s a big thing now. So take a picture of yourself, post it on social media and let people know that you stand with the YWCA and racism will not be tolerated.”

Last year over 30-million people participated in the movement.
