Sunday, R&B megastar Usher sat down with Oprah on Next Chapter for a candid interview to discuss the 3 year custody battle between he and his ex-wife Tameka Raymond and Usher admitted he wasn’t faithful during their marriage:

Towards the end of our marriage I found myself lost, and I just wanted out, No. I was faithful at heart, but not faithful all the way. Even having a conversation with another woman, period, about matters of your relationship or emotions is, in my opinion, not being faithful.

Oprah asked, “But were you involved with another woman sexually?” Here’s his response:

When we were separated, yes, I was. We were not divorced…

Oprah also brought up the bridesmaid that Usher was rumored to be involved with while he and Tameka were marriage:

The conversation about the bridesmaid has always been one that’s been complicated. Outside of my marriage and our separation and our divorce, I did have exchanges with [the bridesmaid]. We were friends. She was someone who was part of the children’s lives before.

Usher also admitted that he wasn’t ready to get married but he just wanted to do what he thought was right being that he was in love with Tameka and she was carrying his child.

Later his mom and former manager Jonnetta Patton joined the show and when asked whether she regretted not supporting Usher by attending his wedding, she said that she still wouldn’t have supported it today and doesn’t regret it because she knew that it wasn’t going to work.

We wish the best to Usher and hope that he gets over his demons of infidelity. Despite of all of the drama these past 8 years, Usher is still coming off as cheater, and no marriage should have to endure that.
