A Harris County Precinct Four Deputy Constable accused of sexually assaulting a child has been fired. The sexual assault case is one that is said to have happened ten years ago in San Antonio. The girl was about six at the time.
Forty-one year old Gerardo Hernandez was a deputy with a good reputation and no disciplinary issues according to Constable Ron Hickman; however, Hickman fired Hernandez when notified that his deputy had been indicted.
The girl claims she was forced to perform a sex act on Hernandez.
Prior to working as a deputy with precinct 4 he worked as a Harris County jailer and Bexar County sheriff’s deputy. News 92 FM’s Dennis Spellman has additional details below:
