We got to see a heartfelt moment between a two-year old deaf boy and three fan favorites at Disneyland, Mickey, Minnie and Pluto.
The young boy is from California and one of the children from Olive Crest, a non-profit organization. According to Olive Crest’s website, they are “Dedicated to preventing child abuse, to treating and education at-risk children, and to preserving the family… “One Life at a Time.” ®

The encounter with the young boy and the Disney characters was something that was set-up by Olive Crest. The idea was have a personally greeting from them in sign-language.
When he met the characters, the boy signed to Pluto first and when he saw them each respond back to him, the boy got excited and hugged Minnie.
They signed, “It’s nice to meet you” and “I love you” and Minnie gave the boy kisses on his head while hugging him back.
“The child was ecstatic after meeting the characters because he didn’t know they would speak ‘his language,'” an official from Olive Crest told ABC.
They even said, “The child is typically not a hugger, so the fact that he hugged both Minnie and Mickey spoke volumes to the joy he felt.”
