Wait, how could we forget about this last night at the Grammys? Disney debuted a brand new short teaser for the upcoming live-action Aladdin film!
Mena Massoud stars as Aladdin, Naomi Scott is Jasmine and Will Smith is the one and only Genie and he appears at the very end of the teaser, blue and very, very interesting.
Some fans even thought there would be a more true to CGI look for Genie … or for Will to look like the 1992 version voiced by Robin Williams but hey, Will did the role justice according to those who’ve caught more than a few glimpses at the performance.
Elsewhere, the film stars Marwan Kenzari as Jafar with Saturday Night Live’s Nasim Perdad starring as Jasmine’s loyal handmaiden Daila and Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders, one of the suitors for Jasmine’s hand.
