T.I. was arrested in Atlanta early Wednesday morning, outside of his own home.
The story, according to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution was that Tip returned to his gated community around 4 a.m. and did not have his key. He then argued with a security guard who would not let him in before calling an associate who would eventually join him.
He was arrested on misdemeanor charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. His friend was arrested on an outstanding warrant. The rapper was released from the Henry County Jail at about 8 a.m. Wednesday after posting a $2,250 bond. He did not appear before a judge.
