Big T, the Million Dollar Hook Man, has passed away. The news was confirmed by Mike D who wrote on Instagram, “I’m so sick of saying Rest In Peace to my peers, DAM!!”

Big T’s voice was featured prominently on a wide number of Houston hits, from Big H.A.W.K.’s “Chillin With My Broad” to C-Note’s “Hold It Down,” Lil O’s “We Ain’t Broke No Mo” and Lil Flip’s “Why Them Hataz Still Mad.” He even had a minor hit of his own with “In The House Tonight” on his Million Dollar Hooks album.

He’ll forever be remembered by the giant chorus he laid on Lil Troy’s “Wanna Be A Baller,” the 1999 hit record that propelled Yungstar to even greater heights after his “June 27th” freestyle and more. Rest in Peace, Big T.
