So, do we give out Hater of the Year in April or nah?

Judge Genece Brinkley, the woman at the center of Meek Mill‘s legal fight since last November doesn’t care that Meek was released from prison yesterday. In fact, she’s staying on his case despite the decision from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to overturn his conviction.

If you recall (and need an easy timeline), Brinkley is the judge who originally sentenced Meek to two to four years in prison for a probation violation that many deemed unjust. And when he kept coming back to court to get a new hearing, she denied him, again and again.

But according to TMZ, the Judge isn’t stepping down despite the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania “inviting” her to remove herself from the case. She says she’s going to be there in June for a hearing that will determine whether or not she’ll drop Meek’s original drugs and weapons charges that landed him 10 years probation in the first place.

She also has faith that that some of the police involved do not have the integrity issues that the one crooked cop in Meek’s case has, thus they can be trusted in the legal matter going forward.

Oh great.
