450 million views later, Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” has not only been a breakthrough single on the charts but also on YouTube. Shot in Dubai, the video caught plenty of looks after its premiere following last year’s BET Awards not just because it foretold of a Year of Cardi but because she had a live cheetah and camel in the video. Well, even with an epic video there was a little danger on set, especially with the cheetah.

“I didn’t know how hard it was gonna be to get a cheetah,” the video’s director Picture Perfect told Framework. “We shot this scene we didn’t use, and he attacked Cardi in that scene.” The director and crew opted for a different cheetah for another scene, one that was much more calmer compared to the original cheetah. Cardi could even pet him.
