Not to get lost in the all the excitement revolving around Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, our favorite anti-hero Deadpool is back in a new trailer for the highly anticipated untitled sequel.

Deadpool 2 looks like it’s going to be even more fun than the first film that brought the Merc with a Mouth to the big screen.

The new trailer opens with Deadpool pausing it frustrated by incomplete visuals effects and follows that up by taking a shot at DC’s awful Justice League movie with Reynold’s saying “it’s not like we’re trying to remove a mustache!”. In the new trailer, we spy some returning favorites such as Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Weasel (T.J. Miller), Blind Al (Leslie Uggams), Deadpool’s love interest Vanessa (Morena Baccarin) and his loyal taxi driver Dopinder (Karan Soni).  Colossus is missing but he is listed as part of the cast so we will probably see him in a second trailer.

Most importantly we also meet the new players to the Deadpool film franchise. Making their big screen debuts is  Domino (Zazie Beetz), possibly Terry Crews as an X-Force member, a middle finger flashing explosive collar wearing Julian Dennison who’s character is also still a mystery. The trailers main purpose though is to introduce us to Cable (Josh Brolin) and boy does he kick a lot of ass in the short clip.

We have no idea if Brolin’s Cable will serve as the film’s villain but he sure does look great in action. It wouldn’t be the first villain Brolin has portrayed in a Marvel film either. He is also Thanos the big bad villain all the heroes in Disney’s Marvel films have been loathing to encounter but will get their first taste of him in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War film.

Check out the first trailer for the untitled Deadpool sequel below and mark your calendars accordingly, Deadpool is back May 18th!

Stay Fly!
