Life, ah, finds a way, legendary Jurassic Park character Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) passionately says in a scene in the first trailer for Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom.

Looks like the chaotician was right about the cloned dinos being nothing but trouble. The Fallen Kingdom is the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster film Jurassic World. The trailer immediately picks up with the first film’s two protagonists Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) sitting down having a conversation. It would seem this film takes place years after the amusement parks utter failure and there is some romantic tension between the two.

We get some small clues s to whats happening when Owen guesses that Claire wants him to return to the island to save the Dinos from an even larger threat. No, this time it’s not a genetically modified super dinosaur in J.A. Bayona’s (A Monster Calls) directed sequel, but a gigantic volcano. Owen is reluctant to head back there and rightfully so, but it’s when Claire mentions Blue, the velociraptor he helped raised since it was a baby is still alive that sparks his interest.

Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom

We assume he wastes no time in returning back to the island that almost killed him in the name of family fun. Both he and Claire seem to have a team with them to help save the dinosaurs from a second extinction but they look like they are not the only ones who want to “save” the dinosaurs. Oh and of course it’s not like the dinosaurs themselves just want to willingly go with them, they still pose a threat as they look to make a meal out of their human saviors.

So yeah they not only have to worry about carnivorous dinosaurs trying to devour them but also volcanic lava melting them instantly.

Looks intense!
